Welcome to ISKCON of Greater Atlanta, a vibrant and growing spiritual center dedicated to sharing the teachings of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the timeless wisdom of the Vedic scriptures. As part of the worldwide International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness (ISKCON), our center serves as a sacred gathering place for devotion, learning, and community.
Inspired and guided by the vision of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swāmī Prabhupāda, Founder-Ācārya of ISKCON, we strive to create an atmosphere where spiritual seekers of all backgrounds can deepen their connection with Śrī Kṛṣṇa and experience the joy of bhakti-yoga.
Our Mission
At ISKCON of Greater Atlanta, our mission is to:
- Share the wisdom of the scriptures: Presenting the teachings of the Śrī Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam in a way that is both practical and transformative.
- Promote congregational chanting: Encouraging the joyful practice of Śrī Kṛṣṇa saṅkīrtana, the chanting of the holy names, as the very heart of spiritual life.
- Foster unity and peace: Building harmony through education, service, and the cultivation of spiritual values.
- Provide a welcoming space: Offering an environment where individuals and families can grow together in devotion to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
- Encourage a devotional lifestyle: Inspiring simplicity, compassion, and service as guiding principles for daily living.
Our Growing Community
Today, our center is home to a congregation of more than 100 sincere seekers and devotees, who come together regularly for worship, study, and service. Each gathering is an opportunity to strengthen faith, build friendships, and share the uplifting experience of devotional life.
Our Vision for the Future
While we are currently a center, our long-term vision is to expand our outreach and deepen the practice of Kṛṣṇa consciousness throughout Greater Atlanta. Our focus is on vibrant preaching, cultivating spiritual education, and creating opportunities for sadhu-saṅga (devotee association). We aspire to build a strong community rooted in devotion, culture, and service - where everyone can experience the beauty of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, wherever they are.
To achieve this, we envision more dynamic programs, youth engagement initiatives, and cultural events that celebrate the timeless wisdom of the Vedic tradition. By fostering an environment of inclusivity and spiritual growth, we hope to inspire individuals and families to embrace a life of higher values and spiritual lifestyle.

H.H. Śrīla Bīr Kṛṣṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja – GBC, South-East USA
His Holiness Śrīla Bīr Kṛṣṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja is a senior disciple of H.D.G. Śrīla Prabhupāda and a member of ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission (G.B.C.). Renowned for his scholarship, preaching, and pastoral care, he provides spiritual oversight and guidance for the Greater Atlanta community.
H.G. Ādi Gadādhara Dāsa – President
Ādi Gadādhara Dāsa, (also known as Dr. Abhay Deshmukh) a disciple of H.H. Śrīla Rādhānātha Swāmī Mahārāja, serves as President and Board Member for ISKCON of Greater Atlanta. Ādi Gadādhara Dāsa, is a sought‑after speaker on Śrīmad‑Bhāgavatam and Bhagavad‑gītā, guiding families and youth in devotional practice with warmth and clarity.
H.G. Gaurasundara Caraṇa Dāsa
Gaurasundara Caraṇa Dāsa a disciple of H.H. Śrīla Rādhānātha Swāmī Mahārāja, is an active preacher and servant‑leader dedicated to nurturing community growth in Atlanta. Through kīrtana, classes, and outreach, he inspires devotees to deepen their practice of bhakti‑yoga and service to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
H.G. Cīrāyu Dāsa
Cīrāyu Dāsa is a disciple of H.H. Śrīla Rādhā Govinda Dāsa Gosvāmī Mahārāja brings professional expertise in technology and organizational leadership to support ISKCON of Greater Atlanta’s growth. With a heart for service, he helps strengthen infrastructure and community engagement while remaining grounded in devotional values.
H.G. Nishikant Gunjal
Nishikant Guñjal serves on the leadership team with a focus on governance, communications, and strategic development. Blending professional acumen with devotional dedication, he helps shape transparent, accountable systems that support the center’s mission and future temple vision.

H.G. Rādhābhāva Devī Dāsī - Head of the Executive Committee
A disciple of H.H. Śrīla Rādhānātha Swāmī Mahārāj, a dedicated practitioner and Medical Doctor, Rādhābhāva Devī Dāsī serves as Head of the Executive Committee at ISKCON of Greater Atlanta, overseeing programs, outreach, prasadam distribution, and children’s education. She also conducts preaching services, fostering spiritual growth and community engagement. With professional expertise and devotional commitment, she plays a vital role in building a vibrant, service-centered community, she also serves as North America Vaishnavi Representative of Atlanta, GA.
H.G. Asha Jahagirdar
Heads the Book Distribution initiative, managing planning, procurement, and outreach. Her dedicated service ensures Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books reach seekers across Greater Atlanta, spreading transcendental knowledge and nurturing spiritual curiosity.
H.G. Aparna Paknikar
Oversees interior design and festival decoration, creating vibrant, devotional spaces for celebrations. She also leads Youth Outreach Program, inspiring young devotees through engagement programs and fostering a sense of belonging and spiritual growth.
H.G. Priyā Gopī Devī Dāsī
A disciple of H.H. Śrīla Rādhānātha Swāmī Mahārāja, H.G. Priyā Gopī Devī Dāsī serves as the Child Protection Officer, dedicated to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children in our community. She also acts as our Public Relations Officer, overseeing the onboarding of new members and helping them engage in Kṛṣṇa Consciousness. Through her guidance and care, she fosters meaningful connections and encourages active participation in devotional service.
H.G. Ajay Paknikar
As Treasurer oversees financial planning, accounting, and stewardship of resources. His diligent service ensures transparency and sustainability, supporting ISKCON of Greater Atlanta’s mission to expand devotional programs and serve the community effectively.
H.G. Deepak Jahagirdhar
As Secretary, manages administrative responsibilities, documentation, and communication for the Executive Committee. His role ensures smooth coordination of center activities and timely execution of decisions that strengthen organizational efficiency.
H.G. Gaurasundara Caraṇa Dāsa
Guides youth preaching initiatives and serves as Child Protection Officer. His programs emphasize kīrtana, classes, and mentorship, nurturing strong spiritual values and safeguarding the well-being of young devotees in the community.
H.G. Sanātana Nitāi Dāsa
As Events Manager, organizes festivals and satsanga events with devotion and precision, ensuring every celebration reflects beauty, culture, and spiritual depth. His efforts create memorable experiences that unite the community in joyous service and kīrtana.
H.G. Nāma Rasa Devī Dāsī
Leads Gopal's Fun School, developing spiritually grounded education for children. Her programs combine learning with devotion, helping young minds embrace Kṛṣṇa consciousness through stories, arts, and interactive activities that inspire growth.
H.G. Rasa Rāja Gopāla Dāsa
Directs fundraising efforts for ISKCON of Greater Atlanta, cultivating resources and support to sustain and expand devotional programs. His service ensures financial stability for temple operations, outreach, and cultural initiatives that inspire the community.
H.G. Nishikant Gunjal
Manages ISKCON Atlanta’s digital presence, creating engaging content for social media and maintaining the website. His service amplifies outreach, shares devotional wisdom, and connects seekers with programs and events online.
